Shipping policy
7. Courier Partner — Aramex Store-to-Door
Foam Republic™ uses Aramex Store-to-Door as our delivery partner for shipping orders within South Africa.
Our standard estimated delivery timeframe is 8–11 business days from order confirmation and successful payment.
Business days exclude weekends and South African public holidays.
Courier Delays
Once an order has been dispatched, the physical transportation and delivery process is managed by Aramex.
While we take reasonable steps to ensure that orders are dispatched and delivered within the estimated timeframe, certain courier operations are outside our direct control.
Delays may occur due to:
-
Courier network disruptions or operational delays.
-
Severe weather or road closures.
-
Public holidays or unusually high delivery volumes.
-
Remote or outlying delivery locations.
-
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
-
Unforeseen circumstances affecting transportation.
Our 8–11 business day delivery timeframe is an estimate and not a guarantee of delivery on a specific date.
To the extent permitted by South African law, Foam Republic™ will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from courier delays beyond our reasonable control, provided that we have complied with our own contractual and statutory obligations.
However, Foam Republic™ remains responsible for fulfilling orders and honouring all applicable consumer rights under South African law.
Delayed Deliveries
If your order is delayed, please contact our customer support team with your order number.
We will assist by investigating the delay with Aramex and providing available tracking information or delivery updates.
Where a delay gives rise to a statutory right to cancel an order or obtain a refund, Foam Republic™ will honour that right.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If an order is lost or damaged while in transit, Foam Republic™ will investigate the issue with Aramex.
We will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African consumer protection law.
Customers will not automatically be held responsible for parcels lost or damaged before delivery.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act or Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
